Overview
XXX OG is a hybrid strain derived from OG Kush and XXX, known for its sedative effects and stress relief. It won first place at the 2014 Los Angeles Cannabis Cup for its robust, aesthetic buds, establishing its reputation as a premium indica-dominant strain. Bred by Maven Genetics, its bulky, conic buds glow with a heavy, white coat of oozing trichomes, emitting earthy, pine, and lemon notes that combine for a sap-like aroma.
XXX OG is immediately set apart from the pack with chunky, medium to large-sized flowers. These flowers are spherical in shape and have the dense and heavy bud structure typical of indica varieties. Leaves are a mossy green and are packed full of orange pistils. In 2015, the team would eventually start to work with the XXX OG cut they run to this day.
