White Shark
White Shark
Also known as: Great White Shark, Peacemaker
Overview
White Shark, also known as Great White Shark or Peacemaker, is a legendary indica-dominant hybrid strain (80% indica/20% sativa) developed by Green House Seeds in Amsterdam during the mid-1990s. Created by crossing Super Skunk, Brazilian, and South Indian strains, this award-winning cultivar quickly gained recognition in the cannabis community. The strain won the 1997 High Times Cannabis Cup for Best Hybrid and the 2005 HighLife Cup, establishing its legendary status among cannabis enthusiasts.
White Shark is renowned for its distinctive appearance, featuring dense, compact buds with vibrant green hues and subtle purple hints, covered in a thick coating of trichomes that gives them a frosty, white appearance reminiscent of a shark's skin. The strain's name reflects both its potent effects and its striking visual characteristics. Despite being descended from the pungent Super Skunk, White Shark's aroma is surprisingly subtle, featuring lavender and clove notes with hints of skunk, wood, and fruits. The complex flavor profile features sweet, fruity, and earthy notes that harmonize with subtle hints of lavender and clove.

Growing Information
White Shark is an excellent choice for beginner growers as it doesn't grow tall, is easy to train, and has indica-dominant characteristics with a low, bushy profile. Indoor flowering time is 8-9 weeks with yields up to 700-800g/m². Outdoors, plants reach 150-190cm in height and can produce 900-1000g per plant. SOG (Sea of Green) and ScrOG (Screen of Green) training techniques are highly recommended. Outdoor harvest occurs in mid to late October in the Northern Hemisphere, with flowering time of 56-70 days depending on conditions. Plants develop short stature with abundant side branches that may require support during flowering due to heavy bud development. Special attention should be paid to humidity control as the dense buds are susceptible to mold.
