White Diesel is a slightly indica dominant hybrid strain (60% indica/40% sativa) created through crossing the iconic White Widow X NYC Diesel strains. This strain can be easily mistaken for a hybrid deriving from Diesel and White Widow, but actually, White Diesel is an interesting phenotype which derived solely from NYC Diesel. Multiple versions of White Diesel exist from different breeders, though all share the common genetic foundation of combining the resinous qualities of White Widow with the pungent characteristics of NYC Diesel genetics.
This bud has fat heart-shaped dense minty green nugs with dark leaves, lots of thin orange hairs and a super thick, frosty coating of tiny, bright white crystal trichomes. The "White" in its name comes from the fact that its buds are covered with a white blanket of trichome crystals. Laboratory tests have found that THC levels in White Diesel typically range from 18% to 24%, placing it in the higher potency category, while CBD levels are kept low to maintain a predominantly psychoactive effect. The origins of White Diesel can be traced back to the early 2000s when craft breeding began to dominate the market.
