Texas Shoreline
Texas Shoreline
Also known as: Shoreline, Texas Shoreline #1
Overview
Texas Shoreline is a hybrid strain that was developed by Theory Wellness and Kaiser Selects as a cross between Shoreline and Skywalker OG. The strain traces its genetic roots to the legendary Shoreline, which originated from unknown bag seed gathered at the Shoreline Amphitheater in approximately 1988 and was crossed with Northern Lights #5 in 1998. Much like BBQ, tacos, DJ Screw, and SLABs, Shoreline has been a part of Texas cannabis culture seemingly forever, somehow making its way to the People and earning it a place in the Texas Hall of Fame. Texas Shoreline features neon green buds with red-orange pistils and purple-tinted trichomes, creating a visually striking appearance. The evolution of this particular version began in the labs of Clone Only Strains in the mid-2010s, with breeders focusing on harnessing the best traits from indica and sativa genetics. The strain maintains the potent skunky characteristics of its parent while adding balanced hybrid effects, making it both a nostalgic homage to old-school cannabis culture and a modern therapeutic tool.

Growing Information
Texas Shoreline is ideal for cultivators of all experience levels and thrives in temperate climates, reaching a modest height of 0-4 feet both indoors and outdoors. The flowering period is relatively short, spanning 7-9 weeks, though some sources indicate it may require 10-13 weeks to reach full maturity. Indoor growers can expect yields of up to 500 g/m² (approximately 17 ounces per square meter), while outdoor cultivation can produce around 21 ounces per plant. Harvest time is typically in early October for outdoor grows. The strain is known for its resilience and ease of growth, requiring regular feeding and a consistent light cycle when grown indoors. The clone is described as short, squat, and easy to grow, though it will need support during flower due to its bulbous trichome heads that cover every bud.
