Terple
Terple
Also known as: Terply
Overview
Terple is a 60% indica/40% sativa hybrid strain created by In House Genetics through crossing Tropicana Cookies and Slurricane #7. The name is a playful portmanteau of terps (terpenes) and purple, reflecting the strain's core appeal: big flavor and flashy bag appeal. The strain emerged in the late 2010s when breeders brought Terple to market by combining two elite parents already celebrated in North American dispensaries. In House Genetics stabilized a Tropicana Cookies x Slurricane #7 line with the goal to marry Tropicana Cookies' tangerine soda nose with Slurricane's dense, sugary resin and easy-to-love indica-leaning structure.
Physically, Terple is distinguished by its arrowhead-shaped bluish-green nugs adorned with vibrant orange hairs and a coating of tiny golden crystal trichomes. The flower structure is tight and dense with large calyxes typical of many Slurricane crosses, and violet purple leaves with a compact, tight bud structure and thick trichomes characterize this genotype. The strain can be cultivated indoors where plants need a flowering time of approximately 68 days, though some growers report longer flowering times of 12-13 weeks.

Growing Information
Cultivating Terple can be a rewarding experience for growers, but it may require some experience due to its unique genetics. This strain is often found in both indoor and outdoor environments, thriving in a controlled setting with attention to temperature and humidity. Growing difficulty is rated as medium with short tree size and popcorn-style bud formation. Flowering time ranges from 10-13 weeks with fair yields but loaded with frosty trichomes. Indoor cultivation requires approximately 68 days flowering time. For commercial goals, growers keep two complementary keeper cuts: a fast 56-60 day citrus washer and a 63-67 day purple showpiece.
