Sensi Star is a legendary indica-dominant hybrid strain created by Paradise Seeds in Amsterdam in the mid-1990s, first released in 1995 and improved in 1997 for enhanced stability. Its exact lineage remains a closely guarded secret, though Paradise Seeds has revealed that the strain leans heavily toward its Afghan heritage, with most speculation pointing to a cross between Afghani landrace genetics and an unidentified strain. Since its introduction, this award-winning strain has dominated the cannabis scene with over 15 Cannabis Cup victories, including wins at both the High Life and High Times Cannabis Cups in 1999.
The strain produces large, conical, dense nugs typical of indica-heavy hybrids with deep green coloration and subtle purple hints. Fiery orange hairs thread through the buds, creating visual contrast, while a thick layer of frosty trichomes gives them a glimmering, almost holographic appearance in proper lighting.
