Overview
Ripley's OG is an exceptional autoflowering cannabis strain developed by Mephisto Genetics through their quest to create the best auto-flowering OG-based strains. The strain was created using an Alien OG cut selected from Cali Connection seed stock, combined with an unknown large sativa-dominant ruderalis strain to create this evenly balanced hybrid. The original Alien OG parent was compact and slow to veg, but distinguished by its thick white resin coating and deep purple leaf coloration. Through successive generations of breeding, the sativa-leaning autoflower genetics opened up the plant's structure, making it one of Mephisto's tallest varieties at an average of 110cm. The strain has evolved to produce larger structures while maintaining lovely thick, glue-like resin and chunky, funky flowers that develop multiple colas when properly branched. Ripley's OG has returned some of the highest lab results seen from customer tests, consistently producing 22-23% total cannabinoids across different plants.

Ripley's OG is suitable for novice growers with a cycle time of 75-85 days from sprout, reaching 90-110cm in height with yields of 120-300 grams per plant. The strain can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors with a flowering time of approximately 70 days. When grown indoors, large yields are possible per plant or as multiple plant arrangements, while outdoor cultivation in good conditions can produce monster plants yielding up to 300g per plant. The plant doesn't have huge inter-nodal gaps and is easily manageable for high yield cultivation. Like its original mother, it will develop purple coloration under cooler environments. The strain produces high odor levels during growth.
