Raspberry Parfait
Raspberry Parfait
Also known as: Berry Delight #7
Overview
Raspberry Parfait is a sativa-dominant hybrid cannabis strain developed through the collaborative phenotype hunting efforts of Humboldt Seed Company and Rising Leaf Farms in Oregon around 2017. This strain emerged from an R&D seed batch created by crossing a Shishkaberry mother plant with a Truffula Tree father. The genetic lineage combines the award-winning Shishkaberry (2001 High Times Cannabis Cup winner) with Truffula Tree, which incorporates genetics from Girl Scout Cookies, Purple Panty Dropper, Durban Poison, Kandy Kush, and OG Kush. Despite its parent strains being predominantly indica-leaning, Raspberry Parfait expresses as an 80% sativa and 20% indica hybrid. The strain is renowned for its exceptional terpene profile, featuring rare combinations including terpinolene, myrcene, limonene, phellandrene, and guaiol. The buds develop a distinctive appearance with heart-shaped, minty green flowers adorned with orange pistils and a heavy coating of trichomes. At full maturity, plants can produce beautiful purple buds with streaks of green, creating an appealing visual contrast that matches the strain's dessert-inspired name.

Growing Information
Raspberry Parfait is considered suitable for growers of all experience levels, with beginner-friendly cultivation requirements. The strain exhibits vigorous growth and can reach impressive heights of up to 10 feet outdoors, while indoor plants typically range from 30-60 inches (0.76-1.52 meters). Flowering time is relatively quick at 52-64 days indoors, with outdoor harvest occurring in early October (October 1-10). Plants prefer moderate humidity levels and temperatures between 70-85°F for optimal development. Indoor yields average 1-2 ounces per square foot, while outdoor cultivation can yield up to 450 grams per square meter under ideal conditions. The strain thrives in both hydroponic and soil systems and adapts well to indoor, outdoor, and greenhouse environments. Due to its sativa dominance, plants exhibit wide internodal spacing and may require support structures and regular pruning to manage their tall stature and encourage even canopy development.
