Raspberry Cough
Raspberry Cough
Also known as: Nirvana Raspberry Cough
Overview
Raspberry Cough is a 70% sativa and 30% indica strain bred by Nirvana Seeds. This sativa-dominant hybrid was created as a cross between a Cambodian Landrace and ICE strains, with some sources indicating it's a three-way cross including Haze #1. Using Ice, Nirvana Seeds crossed it with a pure Cambodian Sativa strain to create the Raspberry Cough. The strain was first developed by the renowned seed bank Nirvana Seeds and has gained recognition in the cannabis community for its distinctive characteristics and effects.
Raspberry Cough exhibits typical sativa-dominant growth patterns with small round pebble-shaped bright neon green nugs with lots of leaves, sparse orange hairs, and a fine layer of sandy amber hued trichomes. The strain is an F1 cross with an abundance of red hairs and a tendency to develop blue hues in cooler night/dark temperatures. Much like its name suggests, this bud has an aroma of sweet earthy raspberries with a hint of nuttiness and a taste of sweet raspberries that is surprisingly savory with nutty and earthy undertones. She has an earthy, piney, and sweet flavor, but the sweetness is never too dominant or overpowering; it's more of a milky-berry sweetness.

Growing Information
Because of her sativa-dominant nature, she flowers for 9–11 weeks. After this flowering period, you will be rewarded with 400–500g/m², especially if you grow her in a SOG. This hybrid is easy to grow and an excellent choice for beginner growers. If you leave this plant untrained, she will grow to absurd heights and stay rather thin, with some topping 10 feet. The final height will be 150-180 cm (59-70 inches) tall and when flowering will produce large, chunky, elongated buds with stacked calyxes. Outdoors under the right conditions, yields of 500 grams (17.5 oz) per plant can be achieved. Depending on the climate, yields may vary, with the best results occurring under a hot climate such as California or The Mediterranean. For outdoor growing, plant seeds in Spring time, and harvest late October. Some phenotypes will finish faster than others, with most plants requiring 9-11 weeks before they are ready for harvesting. Raspberry Cough is robust enough to withstand harsher outdoor weather such as strong wind. It's also recommended for areas with high UV levels and hot climates. Best results can be achieved in warm temperate and hot zones.
