Rainbow Belts emerged as a collaborative breeding project between Archive Seed Bank and Purple City Genetics, launched to create the ultimate candy-flavored cannabis strain. This hybrid combines genetics from Zkittlez and Moonbow, which are both candy-flavored hybrids, with Moonbow being a boutique strain known for its sugary aroma while Zkittlez is an iconic strain loaded with fruity flavor. After its soft launch in 2022, Rainbow Belts rapidly gained popularity, with at least five different growers releasing their own versions and the strain beginning to win industry awards.
This perfectly balanced hybrid strain comprises 50% indica and 50% sativa genetics, though many users report it feels more like an indica due to its dominant relaxing effects. The buds display gorgeous fluffy, rounded popcorn-shaped forest green nugs with purple undertones, bright orange hairs, and a coating of frosty amber crystal trichomes.
