Pineapple Haze is a sativa-dominant hybrid cannabis strain that has become a celebrated cultivar in the cannabis community. Originally developed by Barney's Farm through crossing Afghan with Skunk #1 and an Old School Haze, this strain combines 65% sativa and 35% indica genetics. Created as a cross between Haze and Pineapple, the strain emerged as a flavor-focused cultivar designed to deliver both exceptional taste and potent cerebral effects.
The strain displays medium to large flowers that cling together in a chunky, vaguely spherical formation and, although their lineage is predominantly sativa, they have a dense and typically indica structure. The tightly-coiled leaves are a yellowish green and are threaded through with hairy brown pistils. Finally, translucent, amber-colored trichomes dot the inner and outer surfaces of these compact flowers, giving them a golden glow and a very sticky texture. Pineapple Haze has earned recognition for its distinctive tropical aroma profile and energizing effects that make it particularly suitable for daytime consumption.

Pineapple Haze requires patience but rewards growers handsomely with heavy yields after 9-10 weeks of flowering. She also boasts a high resistance to mold and a hardiness that makes her a good choice even for novices. Indoor flowering time is longer than average, between 10 and 12 weeks. Otherwise, Feminized Pineapple Haze seeds are relatively easy to grow and offer a generous yield of sweetly scented nugs. She can grow considerably tall at up to 8 feet. However, if you prefer growing outdoors, she does best in a warm and sunny Mediterranean climate. Outdoor plants yield 17-21oz/plant. The average yield is 600g/m2 indoors, but a longer pre-flowering time will increase up to 700g/m2. Pineapple Haze strain thrives outdoors in most climates and yields of 1.5 kg per plant are not unusual.
