Pine Soul OG
Pine Soul OG
Also known as: Pine Soul, Pinesoul, Pine Soul OG Kush
Overview
Pine Soul OG, also known as Pine Soul and Pinesoul, is an indica dominant hybrid strain (75% indica/25% sativa) created through crossing the potent Nepali OG X Snow Lotus strains. This strain was developed as a unique phenotype expression from Bodhi Seeds' Goji OG line by the breeders at Green Bodhi. Pine Soul began appearing regularly on West Coast dispensary menus in the late 2010s, with its naming convention clearly nodding to the well-known pine cleaner aroma.
Pine Soul OG produces conical bright neon green nugs with long thin orange hairs and a coating of chunky golden-white crystal trichomes. The strain packs a super woody pine flavor with touches of sweet fruitiness, while the aroma is very similar to a grove of pine trees just after rain, with a touch of spicy diesel and just a hint of sweet fruits. This cultivar has an especially pungent chemical and piney appeal, reminiscent of the bright yellow cleaner, and is perfect for hash-making and extraction thanks to its super sticky resin production. The strain has become particularly valued in the craft cannabis market for its unique terpene profile and balanced effects that promote both mental stimulation and physical relaxation.

Growing Information
This hybrid strain can be grown both indoors and outdoors, offering a moderate yield with a flowering time of approximately 8-9 weeks. Pine Soul OG has a flowering time that ranges from 8 to 10 weeks, typical of many hybrid strains. The plant's structure is robust and resilient, allowing it to adapt well to both indoor and outdoor cultivation environments. The strain thrives in both indoor and outdoor environments, benefiting from controlled atmosphere indoors and flourishing in temperate climates with sufficient sunlight outdoors, where its resilient genetics can endure fluctuating weather patterns. As plants mature, they develop dense, resinous buds with strong trichome presence, and clones ensure uniform growth with predictable flowering cycles and stable yields. Growers should watch for characteristic traits including slightly downward bending leaf tips and a purplish streak in the main stem, with the plant typically growing faster and larger than other varieties in the same environment.
