Orange Creamsicle
Orange Creamsicle
Also known as: Creamsicle
Overview
Orange Creamsicle is a genetically balanced hybrid strain produced through crossing Orange Crush with Juicy Fruit, originally developed by MTG Seeds. The cultivar features Blueberry and a Thai landrace in its genetic heritage, creating a complex lineage that contributes to its unique characteristics. This carefully crafted sativa-dominant hybrid brings together 60% sativa energy with 40% indica chill, though some sources classify it as indica-leaning, reflecting the variation in phenotypes. The strain has gained recognition in the cannabis community, winning 8th Place at the The Emerald Cup 2018 in the category Outdoor - Licensed. Its cured nuggets are small with vivid orange pistils and large visible golden trichomes, creating bright green and orange buds, dense yet soft in texture, and a frosty coating that shows its quality. Its aroma blends citrus and sweetness, and when smoked or vaped, the flavor leans toward citrus with a smooth, creamy finish, living up to its dessert-inspired name.

Growing Information
Orange Creamsicle can be cultivated indoors and outdoors with a flowering time of approximately 66 days (9-9.5 weeks). According to growers, Orange Creamsicle is a heavy producer and is high yielding and extremely resinous, capable of growing very tall with extremely heavy colas. Orange Creamsicle yields 12 to 16 ounces per square meter indoors and 16 ounces or more per plant outdoors. Yields land around 400 to 500g per square meter indoors, and up to 700g per plant outdoors with the right conditions. The strain is considered easy going and a great strain to grow as a first timer, though it may be quite sensitive to its environment and many growers prefer cultivating indoors where climate can be controlled.
