Northern Soul
Northern Soul
Overview
Northern Soul is a classic combination of two favourite strains Northern Lights and Skunk #1 developed by Seedsman Seeds. This offspring shows all of the benefits of both its parents, representing an F1 hybrid that combines the legendary genetics of these iconic strains. It grows showing its indica dominance with large dark green leaves and maintains a medium-sized plant structure that is predominantly indica. The strain exhibits high resistance to mold and mildew, beneficial for its densely packed, resinous buds, making it suitable for various growing environments. It produces some good yields and it has a very good resistance to mould despite producing lovely solid crystal covered buds. Northern Soul has earned recognition for its robust nature and therapeutic properties, offering relief from anxiety and pain, making it a versatile companion for those seeking holistic wellness. The strain's appearance features buds that are traditional skunk afghani looking in both the spicy slightly citrus tasting buds appearance of light oranges and greens.

Growing Information
Northern Soul can be cultivated indoors, outdoors and greenhouse with a flowering time of approximately 67 days (9-10 weeks). It is resistant to mold and fungi, has an indica structure, medium size, and broad leaves of dark green color. The strain produces large harvests of strong buds covered with snow-white trichomes and can grow outdoors finishing flowering by mid-October. Plants should grow quite short staying under 100cm, but occasionally can stretch a little in high temperatures. They naturally resist mould and fungus so even in humid climates they will perform impressively with a flower period of about 9-10 weeks. One thing they don't like is frigid weather and frost - make sure they are cut down before frost damages the buds. The strain is suitable for SOG and ScrOG setups and responds well to pH-balanced soils and hydroponic systems. Growers should be prepared for strong skunky odors requiring good ventilation and carbon filtration.
