Overview
Mr. Nice Guy is an indica-dominant hybrid cannabis strain created by crossing G13 and Hash Plant, developed by the prestigious Dutch seed company Sensi Seeds. This strain won second place at the 2004 High Life Cup and features an 80:20 indica to sativa ratio. The strain was named in honor of Howard Marks, the Oxford graduate who became one of the world's most notorious cannabis smugglers and later wrote his autobiography titled "Mr. Nice". Originally called "G13 x HP," Mr. Nice began as a limited edition strain released briefly in the 1980s before Sensi Seeds brought it back to market in 1999 with its current name.
The plant displays dark green foliage with purple leaves and is covered in orange and white hairs running throughout the buds. Growers report that Mr. Nice produces extremely dense buds. This strain has a sweet smell and taste with earthy notes and pine flavors. Mr. Nice produces mellow effects that put consumers into a state of bliss, though the couch-locking and sleepy effects slowly build from subdued to utterly sedated, making newcomers potentially underestimate its potency.

This strain needs an experienced grower's touch and should be grown indoors where it flowers for nine to ten weeks, producing two to four ounces per plant. It has a relatively short flowering period of 60 days and grows best outdoors in warm, sunny climates with long summers. When grown indoors or outdoors, plants reach 5-8 feet in height. Outdoor growers can expect approximately 550 grams per plant while indoor growers typically yield around 425 grams per square meter. Mr. Nice requires a lot of attention but the high calyx-to-leaf ratio makes manicuring simple.
