Overview
Maverick is a rare indica dominant hybrid strain (25% sativa/75% indica) created through crossing the classic Goji OG X Stardawg strains. The strain was developed using a female selected personally by Bodhi out of over 100 seeds, with Bodhi finding the "Queen Mother" cut to be representative of all the best traits of his flagship cultivar, the Goji OG. Goji is a three-way cross of the mythical $10K Nepali OG, Afghan Goo, and Blockhead, known for high yields, extreme frost, exceptional vigor, and unique terpenes ranging from sugar cookies and goji berries to fuel and hairspray. The Stardawg parent contributes to the vigor and ease of growth imparted onto the already robust Goji OG, making for an extremely versatile plant that performs well in a variety of environments.
Maverick exists in multiple phenotype variations, including high-THC versions averaging 23-25% THC and CBD-dominant hemp versions with 11.88% CBD content or even higher CBD ratios. Maverick buds have piecey flat oversized olive green nugs with amber undertones, matching dark hairs, and a coating of chunky frosty white crystal trichomes. The strain is considered a superb choice for commercial growers who do not want to sacrifice on the quality of the product and newer growers who want to grow a forgiving plant with high-quality smoke.
