Mango Sapphire
Mango Sapphire
Overview
Bred by Humboldt Seed Organization, Mango Sapphire is a complex indica-dominant cross with Bubba's Gift, OG Kush, and Afghan genetics. This strain is a three-way cross of OG Kush, Bubba's Gift, and an elite Afghan clone (OG/Afghan X), created in California by the master breeders at Humboldt Seed Organization. Mango Sapphire is an indica dominant hybrid strain (85% indica/15% sativa) specifically developed to combine exceptional potency with exotic tropical flavors and medical benefits.
Named for its gorgeous appearance and delicious flavor, Mango Sapphire buds have dense bright neon green nugs with thick orange hairs, rich blue undertones and a coating of tiny frosty white crystal trichomes. Dense green buds contrast beautifully with its stark white trichomes and orange pistils. The plant produces compact buds as hard as iron which acquire extraordinary red/lavender hues during flowering. Mango Sapphire is a hybrid with very well defined flavors and aromas accompanied by nuances of exotic fruits, coconut, mango and a subtle touch of sour fruit. Users report unmistakeable pungent tropical fruit flavors with strong mango taste that literally tastes like mango juice, along with some cheesiness and spice.

Growing Information
Indoor flowering completes in 50-55 days (approximately 7-8 weeks), making this a fast-flowering strain ideal for quick harvest cycles. Indoor cultivation typically produces between 400 and 600 grams per square meter. Outdoors, Mango Sapphire reaches heights of 2 to 3 meters and matures by late September, with yields between 1000 and 2000 grams per plant. The strain is suitable even for novice growers as it requires minimal nutrition while still delivering impressive yields. Generally recommended for growing in temperate, Mediterranean climates or in a greenhouse further north. Support structures (trellising) are recommended to hold branches during flowering due to heavy bud production. Plants show quick vegetative growth with large broad fan leaves and respond well to topping and LST (Low Stress Training) techniques.
