Killer Queen
Killer Queen
Overview
Killer Queen is a well-balanced hybrid cannabis strain that was originally created by BCGA breeder Vic High, who crossed Airborne G13 with Cinderella 99 using Brothers Grimm genetics. Named after the famous Queen song, this strain has been described as 'guaranteed to blow your mind.' Brothers Grimm Seeds later recreated this cult classic using their selected Cinderella 99 male to make it available to a wider audience. The strain exhibits characteristics of both its parent strains, displaying a mostly indica structure with dense, bushy plants that produce heavy yields.
Killer Queen produces thick, cylindrical to spade-shaped flowers with a dense indica structure. The buds feature small leaves curled tightly inward toward their central stems, with a mossy shade of green twisted through with orange and brown pistils. The plants grow short and bushy, typically reaching 150-160 cm in height, making them ideal for indoor cultivation and techniques like SCROG (Screen of Green). The strain is known for its generous nuggets at every bulging internode and requires support during flowering due to the weight of its resinous colas.

Growing Information
Killer Queen is considered relatively easy to grow and suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation. The strain has a flowering time of 8-9 weeks (56-65 days) and produces medium to heavy yields. Plants grow short and bushy with a mostly indica structure, making them ideal for SCROG techniques. Growers should provide support for the heavy, resinous buds during flowering. The strain adapts well to various growing techniques and thrives in semi-humid climates with consistent temperatures between 70-80°F for outdoor cultivation. Regular pruning of lower branches is recommended to encourage larger colas.
