Jedi Kush
Jedi Kush
Also known as: Jedi OG, Jedi OG Kush
Overview
Jedi Kush is an indica-dominant hybrid strain that was created by the renowned Cali Connection breeding team through crossing two legendary indica strains: Death Star and SFV OG Kush. This award-winning strain has gained significant recognition in the cannabis community, earning 3rd place for 'Highest CBD' at the 2013 High Times Medical Cup in San Francisco and 1st place for 'Best Nonsolvent Hash' at the 2014 High Times Medical Cup in Detroit. Jedi Kush exhibits a composition of approximately 80% indica and 20% sativa genetics, inheriting the best characteristics from both parent strains.
The strain displays chunky, medium to large flowers with an almost conical shape, tapering from a broad base to a pointed tip. These dense, heavy buds showcase the typical indica structure, featuring dark olive green nugs with striking purple and orange undertones, long amber-colored pistils, and abundant crystalline trichomes covered in sweet resin. The buds have a notably pungent aroma that combines sour skunk, tangy diesel, pine, tobacco, and earthy notes, with the full complexity only revealed when the buds are broken open. This distinctive appearance and aromatic profile make Jedi Kush easily recognizable among cannabis enthusiasts.

Growing Information
Jedi Kush is considered a forgiving strain for newcomers to cultivation, featuring higher than average natural resistance to mold and mildew. The strain thrives in both indoor and outdoor environments, with indoor flowering time of 8-9 weeks (approximately 60-65 days). Plants typically reach moderate heights of 4-6.5 feet indoors and 5-8 feet outdoors. Indoor yields range from 300-350 grams per square meter (10-14 ounces), while outdoor plants can produce 400+ grams per plant (14+ ounces). The strain prefers semi-humid climates with daytime temperatures between 72-80°F for outdoor cultivation. Plants develop wide internodal spacing with heavy flowers, requiring adequate support to prevent stem breakage. Sea of Green (SOG) and Screen of Green (ScrOG) training methods work well, and early stress training is recommended. Organic nutrients are suggested to enhance natural flavors and aromas. The strain can be particularly pungent during growth, so indoor cultivators may need odor control measures.
