Hellfire OG is a California hybrid strain that crosses Rascal's OG Kush with SFV OG Kush, though some sources suggest it's a cross between Crockett's Confidential (LA Confidential x unknown sativa) and Hell's OG (OG Kush x Blackberry). Hell's Fire, aka Hell Fire OG, is a creation of the breeders at Crockett Family Farms, now part of DNA Genetics. Regardless of lineage disputes, this strain has earned a formidable reputation in the California cannabis scene.
Hellfire OG features dense, resinous buds characteristic of its OG lineage, displaying a rich green color, accented with amber or orange pistils, and a generous coating of golden trichomes. The buds are rock hard, soaked in resin and often have a crystalline sheen due to the amount of trichomes, almost looking like they came out of the moon. The strain produces a zesty lemon and spice aroma, making it immediately inviting to citrus and diesel fans alike, with a very piney earthy peppery smell, like being in the Forest, with myrcene that smells like damp dank forest rain. Hellfire OG potency is higher THC than average, with THC content ranging from 28% to 30%, making it one of the most potent strains available on the market.

When grown outdoors, it's usually ready for harvest in late September to early October, with yields of up to 14-21 ounces per plant.
