Grape Stomper
Grape Stomper
Also known as: Sour Grapes
Overview
Grape Stomper, more commonly known as "Sour Grapes" is a craft hybrid marijuana strain created by Gage Green Seeds. A complex cross between breeder JojoRizo's Purple Elephant and breeder Elite Seeds' Chemdawg Sour Diesel, Grape Stomper has quite the pedigree. Grape Stomper is predominantly a sativa-dominant hybrid, consisting of 70% sativa and 30% indica genetics. Originally cultivated as a clone-only variety by breeder Jojorizo, the strain's conservation and wider distribution became possible when Gage Green Genetics successfully converted it into seed form. This bud has dense forest green spade-shaped nugs with bright orange hairs and a frosty coating of oversized chunky white crystal trichomes. Its sweet and sour grape candy flavor is deceptively delicious and often leads to users having a little too much at once, especially given that its THC level falls between 18-26% on average. There are many strains out there with "grape" in the name, but Grape Stomper is one of the originals. True to its name, this strain smells like grape. The aroma released from the buds is a sweet, tangy Grape candy scent, which is thick and intoxicating compared to many of the other supposed "grape" strains (Grape Ape, Sour Grape, etc.). The flavor matches the smell very well and translates directly into a thick, velvety smoke that leaves an aftertaste of sweet, floral grape.

Growing Information
Grape Stomper (aka Sour Grapes) is an indica / sativa from Gage Green Genetics and can be cultivated indoors, outdoors and greenhouse (Where the plants will need a flowering time of ±72 days) Gage Green Genetics's Grape Stomper is/was clone only available as feminized seeds. Grape Stomper can be grown indoors or outdoors although the yield outdoors will be higher. Indoors a grower can expect 1 to 2 ounces per square foot. Outdoors a grower can expect 2 to 3 ounces per square foot or around 550 grams per plant. Expect the plant to grow to 3 or 4 feet high and have a high yield. Flowering generally occurs around the 72 day mark. Grape Stomper's grow traits are very balanced, which means it's a good choice for all types of environments. It's suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation, and it also grows well in greenhouses. Their foliage is bright green, with a typical hybrid leaf structure, strong stems, average internodal spacing, and a decent resilience to pests, pathogens, and cold conditions. Due to their tight bud structure, plants can be prone to mould when grown in humid conditions. The strain is considered moderate difficulty to grow and benefits from experienced cultivation techniques.
