Ghost OG is an indica-dominant hybrid cannabis strain that combines the genetics of iconic OG Kush and Afghani strains, with a 70:30 indica to sativa ratio. Bred by Apothecary Genetics, this strain carries an illustrious background that is steeped in the evolution of OG Kush lineages and was initially discovered by the famous 'Oregon Kid' (OrgnKid), whose keen eye for exceptional quality helped usher it into prominence. The strain is considered to be a select phenotype of OG Kush, popularized by renowned breeder OrgnKid, and according to cannabis folklore, it was named after a forum member called 'Ghost' who received a cut of the original mother plant from OrgnKid in the early 1990s.
Ghost OG produces cone-shaped buds brimming with a tasty tropical but slightly skunky aroma with fresh, earthy undertones. Because it's indica-dominant, some buds might have purple hues, but most will have various shades of yellows and light greens with just a few golden hairs spread out over the entirety of each bud. The strain boasts a rich terpene combination of caryophyllene, myrcene, and limonene, which contribute to its complex flavor profile, with an aroma offering hints of pine and floral undertones.
