The strain was developed by Cabin Fever Seed Breeders, who took the shortest, stoutest male Headband Bx (now Yeti OG) and pollinated the Nor-Cal Fire OG cut. Forest Fire is mostly indica-dominant and can be cultivated indoors and outdoors with a flowering time of approximately 61 days.
The strain gets its name from its distinctive conifer-and-campfire aroma evocative of forest resin combined with the 'fire' potency reputation. The moniker signals two things to shoppers and growers: a deep conifer-and-campfire aroma evocative of forest resin, and the 'fire' potency reputation tied to Fire OG and White Fire (WiFi) OG family lines. Forest Fire buds have small heart-shaped forest green nugs with thin yellow-orange hairs and a coating of chunky frosty white crystal trichomes.
