Overview

Eagle Scout is a hybrid weed strain made from a genetic cross between GSC and Stardawg. This strain is 70% sativa and 30% indica. Eagle Scout combines two of the most relevant cannabis cultivars in existence. Girl Scout Cookies (GSC) exploded onto the cannabis scene, becoming just as popular as OG, Chemdog, and other pop-culture varieties virtually overnight. It boils down to the stellar bag appeal and one-of-a-kind aroma. GSC is known for her resin coated, densely-packed and purple-tinted flowers that smell of sweet gasoline and cookie dough. The GSC, unfortunately, can be a bit finicky, and many growers report that she is difficult to coax a respectable yield out of. The Stardawg male is perfect to make the desired improvements, and the breeding progress is evident in Eagle Scout. Phenotypes will truly run the gamut of both parents–hunters will find plants that look like GSC but the smell and yield like Stardawg, plants that look like Stardawg but taste like Cookies, and every other combination you can imagine!

Eagle Scout buds have grape-shaped dense forest green nugs with thin orange hairs and a coating of tiny frosty golden amber crystal trichomes. This bud has a sweet and nutty flavor that turns earthy and spicy upon exhale. The aroma is super heavy with a gassy diesel overtone that intensifies the more that you toke. Multiple breeding programs have developed variations of this strain, with some versions also incorporating Permafrost genetics or other lineages, creating a diverse family of Eagle Scout phenotypes with varying characteristics and potencies.

Growing Information

When growing Eagle Scout, growers have found that it has a moderate difficulty to grow and is a low yield plant. Flowering time ranges from 60-70 days with an average of 65 days. Plants are of medium height and can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors. The strain has been reported to have 100% germination rates and very stable genetics. Some growers report heavy yields with proper care, describing it as having gobs of resin and impeccable flavor. Flowering can complete in as little as 50-60 days under stress but may benefit from longer flowering periods. The strain is known for its resin production and dense flower formation, though yields can vary significantly between phenotypes.
