Diesel Ryder Strain Overview
Diesel Ryder is an inbred cross of Soma's NYC Diesel and Lowryder #2, created by the Joint Doctor, an influential cannabis breeder who changed the history of autoflowering cannabis with the introduction of Lowryder at the beginning of this century. This long awaited third installment in the Joint Doctor's work is a potent, extremely resinous and tasty auto-flowering plant. Unlike most other Lowryder hybrids created by amateurs, this strain has been worked on by the Joint Doctor and mastered over the course of some years to ensure the perfect hybrid that maintains the excellent taste and effect of NYC Diesel whilst taking the auto-flowering genetics.
This strain normally produces one main cola with less branching than Lowryder or Lowryder #2. Typical of the Joint Doctor's strains, Diesel Ryder flowers automatically at 3-4 weeks and finishes in 8-9 weeks from seed. This is a good choice for closets and small indoor set-ups but please note plants do give off a powerful odour during flowering. A small proportion of this strain will grow significantly taller than other individuals. When bred, the NYC Diesel was selected mainly for its distinctive smell and flavour, creating what became known as the DieselRyder.
