Diamond Glands Strain Overview

Diamond Glands is a cannabis strain created by crossing Sugar Coat with JOMO, bred by Farmhouse Studio Genetics. The strain gets its name because the glands will split and "facet" sometimes, displaying a similar mutation as JOMO the HUTT. According to breeder SHWALE, the extra glands or partial gland abscission act like a cut diamond with many facets, giving the appearance of glistening more than normal, which provides actual bag appeal. The strain exhibits unique multi-gland trichomes with abscission zones or extra glands on top of the glands in the same spot, representing a selective breeding achievement that changes how glands grow. Farmhouse Studio Genetics held back the release of Diamond Glands because it was showing double gland adaptations so frequently, making it a highly specialized cultivar focused on hash production rather than traditional flower consumption.

Diamond Glands Strain Growing Information

Diamond Glands can be cultivated indoors and was available as clone-only feminized seeds from Farmhouse Genetics. The strain is part of Farmhouse Studio's newest line and exhibits the abscission trait. Related strains from the Diamond Glands line have shown excellent hash yields of 162g per meter (~10 sqft) of 70-150 micron material from the first two washes. The multi-gland trichomes are extra shiny because they reflect/refract light differently and have larger average micron sizes. This strain appears to be specifically bred for solventless hash production rather than traditional flower consumption.
