Desert Skunk

Desert Skunk

Desert Skunk

Sativa

Overview

Desert Skunk is a sativa-dominant hybrid developed by Khalifa Genetics, bred specifically for outdoor cultivation in harsh conditions. Resulting from a cross between an old Skunk #1 from the Super Sativa Seed Club and a Moroccan Beldia, this True F1 is probably one of the fastest flowering Sativas in the world. This 85% Sativa hybrid quickly produces long spear-shaped buds full of shiny trichomes. The strain was bred particularly for guerrilla growing, combining the drought resistance and extreme earliness of the Moroccan Beldia with the mold resistance and copious trichome density of 1980s SSSC Skunk. This fast-flowering, early-maturing and mold-resistant strain is a dream come true for outdoor growers in cold climates. In the northern hemisphere, the Desert Skunk often starts blooming in early July and finishes in early September. The strain has gained recognition in modern cannabis culture, being included in Leafly's Top 100 best weed strains of 2025, indicating its rising popularity among consumers and cultivators alike.

Growing Information

The Desert Skunk can grow outdoors in some of the most inhospitable places on earth. Bred especially for guerrilla growing, this vigorous Moroccan Skunk will also give incredible results indoors where most plants are fully ripe in under 60 days. Although it stretches a lot, the Desert Skunk is very easy to grow and low maintenance. Being a beginner-friendly variety, this Moroccan Skunk is less sensitive to over feeding than most Sativas. The strain requires warm, arid conditions for optimal performance and responds well to organic cultivation methods. Desert Skunk can be cultivated indoors, outdoors and greenhouse with plants needing a flowering time of ±56 days. For outdoor cultivation, planting during late spring to early summer with maximum daily sunlight (over 8 hours per day) is recommended, with potential yields of 500-600 grams per square meter under optimal conditions.
