Overview
Cuvee is an incredibly rare indica-dominant hybrid strain (70% indica/30% sativa) created through crossing Space Queen and a clone-only Pinot Noir strain. It was developed by TGA Genetics and Aficionado Seeds, and later attributed to Subcool's breeding program under TGA Genetics. Released in the mid-2010s, it was conceived to marry exquisite flavor with an accessible, uplifting yet relaxing high, with the project focusing on emphasizing confectionary notes and dense resin. A pivotal moment in Cuvee's history was the devastating Northern California wildfires in October 2017, when Subcool and colleagues suffered catastrophic loss of facilities, mother plants, and seed stock, which impacted many varieties, including limited-run lines like Cuvee. Each Cuvee nug is large and super heavy with dark blue undertones, coated with bright orange hairs, and caked with chunky amber crystal trichomes. This bud is a favorite to use in making concentrates, and its reputation rests on the synergy of sweet cacao tones, dark fruit aromatics, and a resin-heavy flower structure designed for both flower and extract. The Cuvee strain is extremely rare and highly sought after, and isn't a form of cannabis that you can readily find, so expect to pay top dollar for an ounce of Cuvee seeds.

The Cuvee cannabis cultivar is easy to grow even if you are a novice horticulturist. Cuvee marijuana plants will thrive indoors and outdoors, but have an easier time growing indoors because of the ability to completely control the climate. Growing indoors, you can expect the Cuvee strain to harvest after a short flowering period of 55-65 days (8-9 weeks). Indoor yields are around 450 grams per square meter (16 ounces), while outdoor grows typically produce up to 600 grams per plant. Indoors, Cuvée grows quite short and generates dense buds. However, outdoor growers can expect plants of significant heights, which require some sort of string support. The ideal temperature for these plants is around 68-86 degrees Fahrenheit and slightly cooler at night, with humidity levels kept around 30-50% during vegetative and flowering stages. Topping, Sea of Green (SOG), Screen of Green (ScrOG), and Low-stress training (LST) methods will help increase total yields and bud production.
