Critical XXL Auto
Critical XXL Auto
Also known as: BCN Critical XXL Auto, Critical Auto XXL, Critical Mass XXL Auto
Overview
Critical XXL Auto is an autoflowering hybrid strain that represents the autoflowering adaptation of the legendary Critical Mass genetics. Originally developed from Critical Mass (also known as Critical+), which is an improvement of the Old School Big Bud crossing Afghan and Skunk #1 genetics, this strain has been engineered to maintain the exceptional characteristics of its photoperiod parent while offering the convenience of automatic flowering. The strain was created by crossing two legendary genetics - Kritikal Bilbo and Critical+ (both from the Basque Country), then crossed with a Critical Mass Auto to provide autoflowering character and achieve a perfect sativa/indica balance. Critical XXL Auto is a perfect hybrid with indica dominance, resulting in a really branchy plant with wide structure and short internodes. It is renowned as one of the easiest cannabis plants to grow, making it particularly suitable for beginners. The strain produces exceptional yields - up to 200 grams outdoors per plant and up to 550 grams per square meter indoors under optimal conditions. The flowers are bright light green with orange to reddish pistils, featuring dense and resinous buds often covered with a thick layer of glittering trichomes.

Growing Information
Critical XXL Auto has a very fast growing cycle of only 8-9 weeks from seed to harvest (some sources report 10-12 weeks total). It is considered very easy to grow, making it ideal for beginners. The plant can be grown both indoors and outdoors and is easy to handle. Expected yields are exceptional - up to 200g per plant outdoors and 550g per square meter indoors under 300-350W LED lighting. For outdoor cultivation, seeds should ideally be sown from April to July. The strain can be somewhat sensitive to fungi in very humid climates. pH levels should range from 6.0-7.0 for soil growing and 5.5-6.5 for hydroponic systems. Indoor growers should use a good anti-odor system as the strain produces intense Skunk and citric aromas.
