Critical Sour
Critical Sour
Overview
Critical Sour is an indica-dominant hybrid cannabis strain developed by Female Seeds, a Dutch breeding company. The strain features genetics combining (Morocco x Grapefruit) crossed with ((Auto NL x Auto NL) x Auto Critical), creating a unique polyhybrid designed specifically for outdoor cultivation with early maturation. Female Seeds wanted to make a very early-maturing outdoor strain, crossing a Maroc x Grapefruit mother with an inbred Auto NL x Auto NL x Auto Critical, resulting in an indica-dominant hybrid that flowers in record time and is very easy to grow. The strain was created to provide growers with a powerful, tasty variety that can be harvested early to avoid autumn rains.
Physically, Critical Sour develops into compact, sturdy plants with strong, flexible stems and wide internodes. The strain is indica-dominant and compact, with a sturdy and flexible stem and wide internodes, featuring an impressive flower-to-leaf ratio with much more flower than leaves. The plants produce thick, resinous and dense buds coated with a mass of trichomes, with vigorous production of thick, resinous and dense buds. Notable for cultivation, approximately one in 30 plants from these seeds will have the full autoflowering trait, adding an interesting genetic variation. The strain is particularly valued for its stealth qualities, being one of the shortest indicas from Female Seeds with low odor production, making it ideal for stealthy growing and not too smelly so perfect for stealth growing.

Growing Information
Critical Sour is considered an easy-to-grow strain suitable for beginners, with high resistance to adverse weather conditions and mold. Indoor flowering time is 8-9 weeks with yields of 300-450g/m². Outdoor cultivation can yield 180-250g per plant with harvest ready as early as beginning of September. Plants remain compact indoors (80-140cm) and reach 100-250cm outdoors. The strain requires minimal odor control due to low smell production. Plants develop wide internodes and benefit from support as buds become heavy. Resistant to powdery mildew and suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation in various climates.
