Developed by one of the most sought-after breeders, Mr. Nice Seeds, Critical Skunk is a cross between two superstars namely Skunk No. 1 and an Afghani Indica. Because of the Afghan and Skunk genetics ingrained in its DNA, the strain can more than hold up its own and make itself worthy of public admiration. Critical Skunk is best grown by intermediate growers who have a passion for cannabis cultivation. Critical Skunk marijuana plants will thrive indoors and outdoors, but have an easier time growing indoors because of the ability to completely control the climate. If you choose to grow indoors, you will have to replicate a steady environment similar to the climate of the Mediterranean. Growing indoors, you can expect the Critical Skunk strain to harvest after a short flowering period of 50-60 days. While Indoor yields are around 750 grams per square meter, outdoor grows typically produce up to 700 grams per plant. Outdoor growers can plan on harvesting their yields around the beginning of October, depending on when the seeds were planted. Because the plants reach a maximum indoor and outdoor height of 6 feet, they can be grown in several different types of grow setups. The ideal temperature for these plants is around 68-80 degrees Fahrenheit and slightly cooler at night. Humidity levels should be kept around 35-50% during the vegetative growth stage and the flowering stage, but lowering the humidity every week will help this plant grow.
