Overview
Critical #47 is a hybrid cannabis strain created from crossing Critical Mass and AK-47, two legendary strains renowned for their potency and unique characteristics. This mostly indica-dominant strain (60% indica, 40% sativa) was developed by Positronics Seeds and can be cultivated indoors and outdoors with a flowering time of approximately 50-55 days. Critical #47 is one of the most awarded plants from breeder Positronics, gaining recognition for its aroma, production and speed of cultivation, even achieving the title of "Girl of the Year 2015" from the international publication SoftSecrets. The genetic lineage combines the robust Skunk #1 and Afghani traits from Critical Mass with the exotic influences of Colombian Gold, Mexican, and Thai genetics found in AK-47. The plant exhibits a medium-large size with very serrated and fine leaves, moderate internodal distance, and pyramid growth structure that generates a large quantity of cuttings due to its branched growth pattern. The buds are rock hard, soaked in resin and often have a crystalline sheen due to the amount of trichomes, appearing almost like they came from the moon with excessive coverage of resinous trichomes.

Critical #47 has a flowering time of 50-55 days indoors with yields of 400 gr/m², and outdoor harvests are ready by end of September with yields of 500 gr/plant. It's recommended to extend the growth period to obtain desired size as it's considered one of the most precious in the Positronics catalog. The strain is excellent for cloning due to its small internodal distance and thick branches, though its strong odor encourages the use of carbon filters when grown indoors. From the third week of flowering, growers can perceive its enormous productivity potential and precocity, with the very branched nature allowing for generation of large quantities of cuttings. Positronics recommends cultivating it organically to preserve and increase its fruity aroma. The plant is considered relatively easy to grow with good resistance to common issues, making it suitable for both novice and experienced cultivators.
