Cookies Gelato is a 50/50 hybrid strain created through the crossing of two legendary California strains: Girl Scout Cookies (GSC) and Gelato 33. Girl Scout Cookies, originally bred by Californian breeder Jigga, is known for its balanced high with moderate THC levels and dessert-like flavors, having spawned countless progeny including Cookies Gelato. Gelato, on the other hand, was created by crossing Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies with Sunset Sherbet and is renowned for its irresistibly sweet and fruity flavors coupled with a soothing, relaxing high.
This strain delivers exceptional potency with up to 28% THC content, matched with mouth-watering flavors, moderate plant heights, and excellent performance both indoors and outdoors. The buds are shimmering and bulbous, emitting an attractive scent of sugary sweetness with similar tones that race across the tongue upon inhalation, making it arguably one of the most aromatic strains available. Thanks to its strong genetics from the Cookies family, Gelato is generally hardy and resilient, making it suitable for growers of varying experience levels. The flowering time is relatively short for its potency, maturing indoors in about 63 days and finishing outdoors in mid-October as a photoperiod plant. The strain has high resistance to diseases but is extremely pungent, so proper odor control measures are necessary during the grow process.
