Cookielato
Cookielato
Also known as: Cookielatto
Overview
Cookielato is a premium indica-dominant feminized cannabis strain created by Silent Seeds, resulting from crossing Gelato #41 with Do-Si-Dos genetics. This exotic hybrid represents the current American cannabis breeding trend, combining two legendary cookie-lineage strains to create an exceptional cultivar. The strain produces medium to large-sized plants that can reach up to 3 meters in height outdoors, featuring abundant strong secondary branches with medium internodal spacing that allows for excellent light penetration throughout the plant. Two distinct phenotypes can be observed: the first develops more robust and compact plants, while the second grows more slender and may require additional support during flowering. As temperatures cool during flowering, Cookielato exhibits striking visual characteristics, developing beautiful colorations ranging from deep purple to contrasting shades of blue, creating an absolutely unique aesthetic appeal. The strain is renowned for its complex aromatic and flavor profile, beginning with notes of freshly baked cream cookies and biscuity characteristics, followed by intense sweet fruit flavors, and culminating with exotic floral undertones. Cookielato demonstrates the high potency typical of modern American genetics, with THC levels ranging from 17-22%.

Growing Information
Cookielato is considered an easy to cultivate indica-dominant hybrid that doesn't require excessive nutrition and adapts well to various cultivation methods including FIM pruning and SCROG techniques. Indoor flowering time ranges from 55-65 days with yields of 500-550g per m², while outdoor harvest occurs in early to mid-October with potential yields of 700-800g per plant. Despite its indica dominance, the strain is vigorous and growers should limit vegetative growth to no more than 3 weeks indoors to control plant height. Outdoor plants can easily reach 300cm in height, and the slender phenotype may require staking for support during flowering. To optimize yields, specific pruning methods such as FIM, SCROG, SOG, super cropping, and lollypopping are recommended.
