Colombia Mangobiche

Colombia Mangobiche is a pure Colombian sativa landrace strain originally cultivated in the department of Huila in southern Colombia until approximately 15 years ago in the mountainous regions between 1400 and 1800 meters above sea level. This strain represents an intriguing genetic marvel, categorized as a sativa with pure landrace attributes that are rare in today's hybrid-dominated market, showing 98% similarity to known Colombian landrace genetics with roughly 95% sativa dominance. The name 'Mango Biche' translates to 'green mango,' referring to the strain's distinctly tropical, citrus-forward terpene profile, and became part of the global cannabis trade during the late 1960s and 1970s when it was often lumped into the category of 'Colombian Gold' that reached international markets.

Colombia Mangobiche is developed from two classic Colombian cultivars that have been combined to increase genetic diversity while maintaining the original Colombian characteristics, producing beautifully branched trees with great vigor that can exceed 4 meters in height under optimal conditions. The buds display long neon green nugs with dark leaves, purple undertones, bright amber hairs and a coating of purple-tinted white crystal trichomes.
