Cole Train is an award-winning cannabis strain developed by DNA Genetics as part of their Reserva Privada line. This acclaimed hybrid is the result of crossing Jasmine, a mid-90s Silver Haze hybrid from Humboldt County, California, with Trainwreck (T4). The strain is indica-dominant with a 70% indica and 30% sativa genetic composition. Cole Train received significant recognition in the cannabis community, earning the 2008 High Times Strain of the Year award, 2nd place at the 2008 Highlife Cup Outdoor category, and 3rd place at the 2008 Spannabis Cannabis Champions Cup Outdoor.
Originally developed in Humboldt County's coastal California environment, Cole Train was specifically bred to thrive in marginal conditions with resistance to mold and foggy coastal weather. The plant produces large, lanky lime green buds with long thin amber hairs and a coating of bright amber crystal trichomes.
