Coconut Cream
Coconut Cream
Overview
Coconut Cream is an indica-dominant hybrid cannabis strain that was released by the NY-based Nanticoke, and made from a genetic cross of LA Kush Cake x Coco Milk. The strain was also developed by Perfect Tree as a blend of LA Kush Cake & Coco Milk with tropical flavor, though some versions from The Fire Department, known for its meticulous, small-batch production methods, first introduced Coconut Cream in 2017. The strain exhibits 75-80% indica dominance, with 20-25% carefully curated to introduce unique aromatic and flavor compounds.
Coconut Cream presents medium-tall specimens with medium-low node distance and produces flowers large in size, and a notable thick resin layer that coats them. The buds are visually striking, boasting a dense, resin-covered structure that immediately betrays its potent lineage. Its tightly packed buds feature frosty trichome clusters that shimmer in the light. Growers are particularly enthusiastic about the lush layer of resin that covers the thick buds and gives off a slight coconut milk smell.

Growing Information
Coconut Cream is relatively easy to grow, making them suitable for inexperienced growers. Flowering time is 8 weeks for indoor cultivation. Indoor plants reach 80-110cm tall and can yield up to 550 grams per square metre under optimum conditions. When grown outdoors, plants reach 180-220cm tall, can turn a spectacular purple-red colour during flowering, yield around 650 grams per plant, and harvest time is early October. Plants can be cultivated indoors, outdoors and greenhouse (where plants need a flowering time of ±55 days). The strain produces medium/high yields both indoors and outdoors.
