Club 33 OG
Club 33 OG
Also known as: Club 33, Original OG Kush, 3C Club 33
Overview
Club 33 OG, also known as the "Original OG Kush," is a world-famous strain with ancestry from the Hindu Kush Mountains of Afghanistan. The strain started its transformation to its current phenotype in the early 1990's in Florida when Matt "Bubba" Berger accidentally crossed two strains. The resulting cultivar was further perfected and introduced to California by Josh D later that decade, where it has become the "grandmother" strain to almost every current iteration of the Kush variety.
Club 33 OG is a distinguished indica-dominant hybrid that offers a symphony of flavors and a broad spectrum of effects. The buds are dense and covered in a rich layer of trichomes that sparkle under the light, signaling its potency, with colors ranging from deep green to hints of purple and vibrant orange pistils adding contrast and visual appeal. Infamously difficult to grow well, many growers have tried and failed to propagate the strain to its maximum potential, making it moderately challenging and requiring some experience to bring out its full potential. The strain is the essential representation of what people think of when they think of exceptional Southern California OG Kush, oozing all of the flavors, aromas and impact that made the strain famous in the first place.
