Classic Twist
Classic Twist
Also known as: The Classic Twist
Overview
Classic Twist is an evenly balanced hybrid strain (50% indica/50% sativa) created by Gage Green Group through crossing old school Afghan Haze with Joseph OG. This strain represents a modern interpretation of classic Afghan Haze genetics, enhanced with the bulk, speed, and potency of the Joseph OG parent. The cross successfully brings together the best of both worlds - the energizing, social qualities of traditional Haze strains with the structural stability and potency of contemporary OG genetics. Most phenotypes express sativa-dominant characteristics while maintaining some muscle relaxation properties typical of indica genetics. Classic Twist buds display fluffy, popcorn-shaped forest green nugs with sparse orange hairs and a coating of frosty white crystal trichomes. The strain produces large, spear-shaped buds with tremendous trichome production, making it visually striking and resinous. The plants have very desirable structure that responds well to training and super-cropping techniques, making it suitable for experienced cultivators who want to maximize yields.

Growing Information
Classic Twist is suitable for cultivation both indoors and outdoors with a flowering time of 7-9 weeks (approximately 56 days). The strain requires moderate to advanced growing skills due to its vigorous growth characteristics. Plants develop very desirable structure that responds well to training techniques such as topping, super-cropping, and LST (low-stress training). Expect large, spear-shaped buds with tremendous trichome production. The strain performs well with proper ventilation and benefits from regular pruning to focus energy on top colas. Most phenotypes will be sativa-dominant in growth pattern while maintaining some indica characteristics. Indoor cultivation is recommended for better environmental control, though outdoor growing is possible in suitable climates.
