Chocolate Sherbet
Chocolate Sherbet
Also known as: Chocolate Sherbert
Overview
Chocolate Sherbet is a sativa-dominant hybrid (70% sativa / 30% indica) created by crossing Chocolope and Sunset Sherbet. This breeding project by Growers Choice combines two strains that represent the best of all-time cannabis genetics. The Chocolope parent strain is itself a cross between Chocolate Thai and Cannalope Haze, while Sunset Sherbet is an indica-dominant hybrid made by crossing Girl Scout Cookies with Pink Panties. This strain is known for its old-school hash aroma when dried, attributed to the Chocolope genetics, but with the addition of Sunset Sherbet it developed a refined new-school taste profile. The aroma is reminiscent of classic Moroccan hash, infused with a creamy, new-age twist that tantalizes the senses.
Chocolate Sherbet exhibits characteristics that make it appealing to both novice and experienced growers. This strain is considered beginner-friendly and adapts effortlessly to various growing conditions, proving to be an easy-to-grow option that doesn't sacrifice quality for convenience. Its resistance to mold and pests makes it a reliable choice for both seasoned growers and novices. Due to its sativa genetics, this plant loves to stretch, reaching 90-130cm indoors but can grow up to 240cm outdoors. The flowering period ranges from 8-10 weeks depending on the phenotype, with some ready to harvest in just 8 weeks.

Growing Information
Growing difficulty is considered easy to moderate, making it suitable for first-time growers and responding well to various growing techniques including advanced methods. Flowering time is 8-10 weeks (9-10 weeks average), with outdoor harvest ready in early October. Expected yields are 650 g/m² indoors or up to 1 kg per plant outdoors. This plant thrives in both indoor and outdoor settings. Growers should avoid excessive vegetative periods in warm climates as the strain can stretch significantly due to its high sativa genetics. The plant can handle heat, stress, and over-fertilization without problems, but may stretch in warm climates. SCROG (Screen of Green) method is recommended for optimal results.
