Chocolate Hashberry
Chocolate Hashberry
Also known as: Choco Hash Berry, Chocolate Hash Berry
Overview
Chocolate Hashberry was created by Californian breeder Purple Caper Seeds using a cross of Blackberry Kush and Chocolate Kush, resulting in a beautiful plant with purple tipped leaves, bright green buds, curly orange pistils, and heavy resin production. The strain emerged during the early 2010s as West Coast breeders leaned into dessert-forward crosses that blended old-world hash aromatics with modern candy-and-berry profiles. While multiple nurseries worked this lane, Chocolate Hashberry coalesced around a stable cross of Chocolate Kush and Blackberry Kush that captured a rare "cocoa and spice meets jammy fruit" balance. This strain is an 80% Indica and 20% Sativa strain, and is a 4 time California Cannabis winner!
The buds of Chocolate Hashberry weed are golden and green which are covered in light pistils and white trichomes. With a smell indicative of its name, Chocolate Hashberry reeks of chocolate, hashy spice, and sweet berries. According to Dark Heart Nursery, an online shop which carried the clones before they were discontinued, this strain has an earthy smell and nutty chocolate taste. This addictive combination yields an insanely tasty bud with a super potent THC level that hits about 28% on average. The breeder prides itself on having rare strains so growers might have trouble locating Chocolate Hashberry.

Growing Information
Chocolate Hashberry is mostly indica and can be cultivated indoors and outdoors with plants needing a flowering time of approximately 60 days. The plant grows bushy like an indica, however there is considerable spacing between the internodes. It is recommended to prune the undergrowth to increase denseness in the top buds. When cultivated properly, the plants grow big and bushy, averaging high yields with a 7-8 week flowering time. Indoor flowering time is 8-9 weeks, while outdoors the strain is ready for harvest in early October. Sensible Seeds lists it as slightly difficult to grow since it needs pruning. This strain is a true champion outdoors and indoors.
