Chernobyl (Slymer Cut) S1
Chernobyl (Slymer Cut) S1
Also known as: Chernobyl Slymer Cut S1, Chernobyl S1, Slymer Cut S1
Overview
Chernobyl (Slymer Cut) S1 was created from a select Chernobyl Slymer cut by Bob Bitchen, representing a remake to amplify some of the best characteristics of this legendary cut. The Slymer cut is a slightly Sativa dominant hybrid strain (60% Sativa/40% Indica) created as a phenotype of the infamous Chernobyl strain. The original Chernobyl was bred from the original Trainwreck, Trinity, and Jack the Ripper genetics by TGA Subcool genetics and was named High Times Strain of the Year in 2010. The Slymer cut is considered the most coveted pheno of the Chernobyl line, making this S1 version particularly valuable as it preserves these elite genetics in feminized seed form.
The strain produces a powerful terpene profile high in limonene and exhibits dense, white-trichome laden calyxes and leaves that glisten when approaching peak ripeness. Users report one of the most potent lemon-lime terpene profiles ever experienced, with a flavor profile described as 'like smoking a Key Lime Pie'. The strain requires careful cultivation attention as nutrients need to be moderated and plants require trellising to support the more delicate branches, and plants will jump in height during the flip to flower, sometimes 80-100% of the vegetative height.

Growing Information
Plants stretch 80-100% in bloom requiring careful planning for vertical space. Use moderate feeding to avoid excess and trellis branches, as they can be delicate. Provide strong light to boost trichome yield. Growing difficulty is moderate to challenging due to stems being more hollow and brittle, making training difficult. Flowering period is around 60 days with harvest window between eight and nine weeks. Suited for both outdoor and indoor growth, though plants have an easier time growing indoors because of the grower's ability to manage the climate. Expected yield is medium to good with proper care.
