Chemdawg D Gold Line
Chemdawg D Gold Line
Also known as: Loompa's Columbian Chemdawg D F2
Overview
Chemdawg D Gold Line, also known as Loompa's Columbian Chemdawg D F2, is a mostly sativa strain created by Riot Seeds that represents what the breeder considers one of their greatest achievements to date. This strain combines the power of Chemdawg D with the sweet fruit loops taste and electric sativa high of pure Columbian Gold, creating what is described as the world's most potent version of Columbian Gold as well as the most reliable indoor version. The F1 was originally created by breeder Hazeman, with the F2 selection specifically done to select for the most powerful version of Columbian Gold while maintaining its characteristic sweet fruit loops taste and aroma. The breeding project successfully reduced the flowering time from the standard 26 weeks of pure Columbian Gold to a more manageable 14 weeks. The Columbian Gold parent is a near-pure sativa landrace strain that originated in the Santa Marta mountains of Colombia, where it adapted to high humidity, rain, and strong winds, eventually making its way to American cultivators in the 1960s.

Growing Information
Chemdawg D Gold Line can be cultivated indoors, outdoors, and in greenhouse environments. The strain has a flowering time of approximately 14 weeks (98 days), which is significantly shorter than the 26 weeks typically required for pure Columbian Gold. This makes it much more practical for indoor cultivation while maintaining the potency and characteristics of its landrace parent. As a sativa-dominant strain with landrace genetics, it produces tall, branchy plants that require adequate headroom. Indoor growers can expect plants that may grow quite tall, while outdoor cultivation in the Northern Hemisphere can yield harvests in November, with Southern Hemisphere harvests in May. Given its sativa genetics and Chemdawg lineage, this strain is best suited for experienced growers who can manage tall plants and longer flowering times.
