Chem 91 SK VA is believed to have been first cultivated by the illustrious East Coast breeder who goes by the name of Chemdog, with some speculation that it descends from a Thai landrace strain. Chem #91 is thought to be an offshoot of the original Chemdog strain, and the numerical addition of "91" is believed to reference the year the strain first came into existence. The "Skunk VA" tag refers to the grower and breeder who preserved and popularized this particular cut of Chem 91—Skunk VA. His meticulous cultivation and sharing of the strain helped preserve its original qualities and increase its notoriety among connoisseurs. This famous East Coast strain comes from the Chem family from Chem Dawg and their crew. It is outcrossed to the Deadhead and then backcrossed to the Chem 91 so it's actually to itself.

Due to its Sativa lineage, it is a tall plant of 60''-80'' indoors and exceeding 90'' outdoors that requires pruning and bending in the vegetative stage to keep it manageable. Plants need lots of effort to obtain a maximum terpenic load. These will provide you large yields, very skunky, very kerosene, very typical to an OG- lemon undertone. You'll have a solid bud structure followed by shorter plant with thicker stems. Has a tendency to grow large at times if you don't train it properly.
