Cheese Cake
Cheese Cake
Also known as: Cheesecake, Cheesecake Kush
Overview
Cheese Cake is an indica-dominant hybrid strain (70% indica/30% sativa) created through crossing the classic Cheese X another unknown indica dominant hybrid strain, though more specifically made by crossing Confidential Cheese with F2 Girl Scout Candy. This strain was originally bred by Mad Scientist Genetics. The strain features dense and heavy spade-shaped dusty green nugs with purple leaves, reddish hairs and a coating of amber-tinted crystal trichomes, making it visually striking. Even with the lack of information about its heritage, Cheese Cake is still a breeder and patient favorite thanks to its insanely delicious flavor and relaxing effects. The strain is known for its unique aromatic profile that combines the pungent cheese characteristics of its parent with sweet, dessert-like undertones. Despite the strain dubbed Cheesecake lacking a fruity quality, its scent does have a potent cheesy terpene profile and its effects are reputedly potent as well. A well cultivated batch of Cheesecake will have a strong musky and cheesy scent coupled with a mildly sweet taste.

Growing Information
Growers should expect a difficult growing experience with demanding and medium-tall plants in terms of environmental factors and nutrition. Regular pruning and training techniques are recommended for optimal results, being high yields of up to 450g/m². Cheesecake strain can be grown indoors or outdoors, but when choosing a place, you should take into account the height, because, for example, indoors, the height reaches 60-80 inches, and outdoors even more than 90. With a short flowering time of 7-8 weeks, harvests are ready by early October. Growing indoors yields a crop of about 300 g/m², and you can obtain 400 g/plant when cultivating outdoors. The plants need a flowering time of ±60 days (56-63 days) and yield medium/heavy with medium/tall height. The plant can be quite capricious, so it is more suitable for experienced growers.
