CBD Sweet 'n' Sour Widow is a 70/30 indica-dominant hybrid cannabis strain developed by CBD Crew. This strain was specifically bred to provide a 1:1 ratio of CBD:THC, allowing equal dosage of both beneficial cannabinoids. CBD Sweet and Sour Widow is a CBD enriched variety based on the genetics of outstanding White Widow, derived from White Widow genetics and an unnamed sativa-hybrid to accentuate its CBD profile. The strain won the third prize in the CBD category at the High Times Cannabis Cup in 2013.
The strain exhibits a particularly distinctive aroma with notes of sour onion, though some users report grassy overtones and pungent notes of sweet onion and wet soil. This grows vigorously during the vegetative stage and on flowering produces slightly airy flower clusters, which end highly resinous.
