CBD Somango
CBD Somango
Also known as: CBD Botanic Somango
Overview
CBD Somango is a high-CBD hybrid cannabis strain developed by CBD Botanic as a specialized version of the award-winning Somango strain originally created by Soma Seeds. This strain features a balanced 1:1 THC to CBD ratio, representing a departure from the typical low-CBD profile of traditional Somango. CBD Somango comes from a cross of Somango and maintains a 70% indica / 30% sativa genetic composition, offering a balance between cannabinoids THC and CBD (1:1). This indica-dominant strain is very resistant to diseases, with a terpenoid profile that conjures mango tastes perfect for lovers of sweets, and is high in resin, engulfing the leaves near the flower.
The original Somango genetics trace back to a cross of Jack Herer, Super Skunk, and Big Skunk Korean, giving CBD Somango a rich genetic heritage known for producing exceptional flavor and aroma profiles. The strain is characterized by separate internodes and large flowers full of trichomes with aromas of mango, growing to substantial heights of up to 1.8 meters outdoors with fast branching. Unlike traditional high-THC cannabis strains, CBD Somango provides the therapeutic benefits of CBD while maintaining enough THC to create what many users describe as enhanced medicinal effects through the entourage effect.

Growing Information
CBD Somango can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors with a flowering time of approximately 8-9 weeks (60 days), yielding 450-550 grams per square meter. For indoor cultivation, provide good growth substrate with added humus, while outdoor plants grow extensively with fast branching, reaching up to 1.8 meters in height requiring good support structures. This variety is not recommended for greenhouse growing due to characteristics that can produce weak branches, making good support structures essential for both indoor and outdoor cultivation. The strain is very resistant to diseases, making it relatively accessible to growers with various experience levels. Harvesting outdoors typically occurs in mid-October. The plant produces resinous buds that are excellent for extraction purposes.
