Overview

CBD Mazar is a hybrid strain created by Dutch Passion, developed by crossing the sativa-dominant bestseller CBD Charlotte's Angel with one of their most stable strains, the classic indica-dominant Mazar. The strain proudly won 1st place at the prestigious Highlife Cup in 2022 (organised by Soft Secrets) in the Medical CBD category. Due to the worldwide success of CBD Charlotte's Angel and the resulting demand for comparable high-quality CBD strains, Dutch Passion developed CBD Mazar with the goal of creating a more compact and faster flowering CBD variant. CBD Mazar is an indica-dominant hybrid CBD-rich cannabis strain with super-compact buds, powerful and robust plants with demonstrably high CBD content and low THC percentage, featuring resinous buds with a good flower-to-leaf ratio. The strain produces compact and frosty looking buds that are a real feast for the eyes and can get really hard and dense. This strain classifies as 'cannabis-light', a form of CBD-rich cannabis that allows the buds to be sold legally in some European countries like Switzerland or Italy, where the THC percentage must be below specific thresholds.

Growing Information

CBD Mazar has a short flowering time of 8 weeks indoors and finishes at the end of September outdoors in the northern hemisphere. Indoor yields average around 400-500g/m² under good conditions, with outdoor yields ranging from around 250g to 750g per plant. The strain is easy to grow and suitable for beginners as well as expert/commercial growers. It's suitable for both indoor and outdoor growing, with outdoor growers in warmer and drier areas like the Mediterranean finding it particularly easy to cultivate. The plant does not like high humidity, particularly towards the end of bloom, making dehumidification strongly recommended. Preferably keep humidity well below 50% during indoor growing, around 35-40% during late flowering phase. Optimal temperatures are between 22°C and 26°C with humidity levels around 40-50%. The strain is best grown in a SOG setup but also does great when grown naturally, possibly with training techniques like topping, FIMing, or super cropping.
