Cali Bubba
Cali Bubba
Also known as: Cali Bubba Kush, Cali Bubba Smalls
Overview
Cali Bubba is a hybrid indica-dominant strain that results from a cross between California Kush (also known as Cali Kush) and Bubba Kush. This indica-dominant hybrid strain maintains a ratio of 70% indica to 30% sativa. The breeder after whom the strain is said to be named claims that it first appeared in 1996. Cali Bubba reappeared in 2021, attributed to the demand in Canada for strong, long-lasting, and sedating weed strains.
Cali Bubba buds are dense and large, with numerous leaves and few pistils. The strain's leaves are light green with an icy blue flash and densely packed with trichomes. The strain has a fruity citrus aroma with a darker kush coffee note, and spicier tones and coffee kushiness are noticeable in the flavor. With a THC average of 24%, it delivers heavily sedative and uplifting properties, providing a blissful body melt that will be enjoyed by recreational and medical users alike.

Growing Information
Cali Bubba is an indica/sativa hybrid from Envy Genetics and can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors. Based on its Bubba Kush parentage, flowering typically takes between 8-10 weeks, with buds becoming increasingly dense and resin-coated as harvest time approaches. This strain prefers a warm, Mediterranean-like climate for optimal growth, with indoor daytime temperatures maintained between 70-80°F (21-27°C) with a slight drop at night. Keeping humidity in the range of 40-50% helps prevent mold and other moisture-related problems. The strain is considered moderately easy to grow and responds well to training techniques. It is not recommended for daytime use, especially if you need to run errands, and is best for unwinding and relaxing.
