Buruandi
Buruandi
Also known as: Blockhead, Block Head
Overview
Buruandi (also known as Blockhead) is an indica-dominant hybrid strain created by Genehtik Seeds of Spain. This strain results from crossing Sweet Tooth, a High Times Cannabis Cup winner, with an unknown mystery strain of American origin whose exact genetics remain undisclosed. The strain exhibits a 65-70% indica and 30-35% sativa ratio, representing an interesting genetic profile that produces indica-like dense flowers on a plant with sativa-like characteristics. The buds are exceptionally hard and dense, displaying deep emerald green hues with purple undertones and burnt-orange, reddish fan leaves. Dense trichomes coat the substantial colas, giving them a cork-like appearance when broken apart. Despite its indica dominance, Buruandi displays unique heady and uplifting characteristics alongside its powerful sedative properties, making it a distinctive strain in the cannabis world. The strain is known for producing medium to above-average yields with flowering times of approximately 8-10 weeks indoors.

Growing Information
Buruandi is suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation, with a flowering time of 8-10 weeks (approximately 56-70 days). Indoor plants typically reach heights of 90-120cm (3-4 feet), while outdoor plants can grow to 150cm (5 feet). The strain produces medium to above-average yields, with indoor yields reaching up to 500g/m² and outdoor yields around 600g per plant. Plants prefer dry conditions due to their large, dense flowers and show good resistance to molds and pests. Outdoor harvest is typically ready by mid to late October in Mediterranean-like climates. The strain exhibits a compact, columnar growth pattern with more branching outdoors. Growing difficulty is considered moderate, making it accessible to intermediate growers.
